Greece, Best Project in Special Education

Greet Meesen has been a teacher member of ePals since November of 1999. I have been in touch with her over the years because of the great work she does. She is partially paralyzed and works with students in hospital/homebound programs.


Germany: UNICEF Junior Ambassadors

Sometimes a class' membership in ePals becomes the springboard to some great collaborative design and learning. Reinhard Marx, an ePals teacher in Germany, contacted us in 2006 to tell us about the UNICEF Junior Ambassadors Award his students had received for completing an ePals Radio Programme Project, working collaboratively with other ePals classrooms.


Canada: Award of Excellence, 2001

In 2001, we heard from a teacher in Canada:

Students from my grade 7 class at Sherwood Park Education Centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia, began to examine in depth the ethnic and cultural diversity of Canada as they were completing projects about their country to send to our ePALS partners.
